French Antique 'Fleur-De-Lis' Diamond & Yellow Gold Brooch

A French 18ct yellow gold and diamond brooch in the form of the fleur-de-lis heraldic charge, circa 1840. The featured diamond, weighing 1.01ct, is an old rose cut in an oval shape with J colour and P clarity. The stone is mounted in a foiled, closed-back setting typical of the period, creating a gleaming effect. The remaining five rose cut diamonds are mounted in a band and exhibit M+ colour and P clarity, with a total estimated diamond weight of 0.15ct.
